Shipping Policy

Ships from location:
Every WAXON garment ships directly from our workshop in Asheville, NC. We use USPS first class (for smaller items) and USPS Priority (for items heavier than 16 ounces). The same hands that made your clothing will pack and mail it. We send you an email when your order is placed, and again when your order is shipped. 
Shipping times:
Unlike conventional clothing companies that produce inventory in bulk, and then make that inventory available to purchase, we don’t begin producing these special garments until a customer has placed their order. Once the order is placed, we cut, sew, dye, inspect and ship the garment. Our turnaround time is the amount of time it takes us to produce a made-to-order garment and prepare it for shipment. Our sewing staff work several days per week but not every day; our goal is to have your garment cut, sewn, dyed, and packaged for mailing within 2 weeks. Thank you for supporting the handmade process. We know this is the opposite of fast fashion, and hopefully that’s why you’re here. 
 
Where is my package?
Once the USPS is in possession of your package, all we can do on our end is view the tracking number (in your shipping email) and refresh it to see if there are any updates. We are sorry to say that once your package leaves our studio, we are powerless over its location and trajectory. Please use the tracking number in your email before panicking and contacting us to see where it is. 
 
Local pickup options:
Please let us know if you would like us to hold your order for local pickup, so we don’t mail it by accident! We are located at 726 Haywood Rd. in West Asheville, NC. Our hours are up to date on Google; feel free to check and make sure we are open before you come. You can always double check and text us at 828-367-7537 if there are any weather or holiday closures around town that you think may effect our opening or closing times.
